Carved from old-growth redwood burl, this mantelpiece holds beautiful redwood colors exhibited on the live edge. Deep and rich red and orange hues beam across the untamed curved and wild live edge. The entire mantel has slightly darker streaks that add variation to the piece and create depth. The carved void detail was created by a knothole that formed naturally over the course of the tree’s life. Along with a naturally carved void, this mantelpiece can be a beautiful addition to simple, contemporary furniture and add a natural, homey feel to your space.
